Spring 2007 - an exciting period for HCT
Posted: 30 Apr 2007
Spring 2007 saw a number of exciting developments for HCT as the expansion of our services and activities continued.
A selection is recorded below.
Route 394 - TFL ups the service frequency
We have been operating this route since March 2003 after we had been successfully providing a community transport service along a similar route. The success of the service led to Transport for London (TFL) deciding to increase its frequency during April to every 12 minutes during the day between Monday and Saturday. The service runs from Tolpuddle Street in Islington to Homerton Hospital in Hackney via Hoxton and Central Hackney. This change will take effect on 22 September. CT Plus will be introducing two new vehicles on the route to cater for this change.
Our new Group Finance Director
We were delighted that Stephen Mason decided to join us as our new Group Finance Director. Stephen is an experienced, commercially aware individual who has a skill set that has been honed within a FTSE100 company. He joins us from Rentokil Pest Control which is the largest division by profit of Rentokil Initial plc. Stephen was Finance Director within this division.
CT Plus to operate social services transport in Lambeth
We are very pleased to announce that Lambeth Council has awarded CT Plus a contract to transport vulnerable adults and older people to day care centres in the borough. We will be transporting 100 people to 2 centres on 5 new vehicles from 28 July 2007.
