Women in transport

Women make up 47 per cent of the UK workforce yet remain underrepresented in the transport sector accounting for only 20 per cent of workers. At HCT Group, we want to play our part in empowering women to have successful careers in the transport industry. We do this by creating a positive, supportive environment for all our employees – and female colleagues in particular. Meet some of our champions for women in transport.

“HCT Group have invested in me as I was able to do my Transport Manager exam. I also have the health and safety qualification IOSH and am the safeguarding lead for London. Doors open when an organisation sees your potential and want to upskill you. Listen, learn, take advice and share knowledge. And don’t be afraid to ask – if you want to progress, make yourself known to people.”
