Do you enjoy driving?  Do you get satisfaction from helping people participate in their community and access the wide variety of services and activities provided by community groups?

We are recruiting Volunteer Drivers to drive minibuses for community groups and not-for-profit organisations including, older people’s groups, sports clubs, schools and colleges, youth groups, religious groups and disability groups.  You will enable the group to undertake activities, access a range of facilities, go on trips, and enjoy the social benefits of being part of a group.  Many of our member groups wouldn’t be able to operate without our central pool of volunteer drivers.

Volunteer drivers need to be:

  • To be aged 21 +
  • Have a full UK driving licence (ideally 'clean' but talk to us if you have any endorsements)

We offer...

  • Flexible volunteering
  • Training to a nationally-recognised standard
  • Opportunity to learn new job skills
  • Opportunity to meet new people, and make a positive difference to their lives
  • Working in a friendly, supportive environment
