About CT Plus
A part of the HCT Group
CT Plus is a part of the HCT Group. Founded as a wholly-owned trading arm of HCT in 2001, the idea was to separate work we did solely for the benefit of the community as HCT from work that we do to pay for that community benefit.
CT Plus wins its contracts in the marketplace, delivering them to a high standard. As a social enterprise, we believe that our customers should never have to make a trade-off between price, quality and the community impact that contracting with a social enterprise can bring.
CT Plus delivers the majority of our transport services in London under its own badge - London red bus routes, site transport and staff transport services out of our Ash Grove depot in Hackney. We also deliver our services in Waltham Forest as CT Plus.
When we expanded to Yorkshire in 2005, we established an additional trading arm – CT Plus (Yorkshire) - to deliver compete for contracts locally.
CT Plus became a Community Interest Company (CIC) in 2007 - a CIC is a form of UK limited company designed specifically for social enterprises. Money made from CT Plus contracts is reinvested back into the communities where we work, making a real difference to people’s lives. More information about how our commercial success enables our community impact can be found here.
