Private Hire Manager, Waltham Forest, circa £30k + benefits

CT Plus is looking to develop a private hire coach and minibus business based at Waltham Forest in North East London. The Private Hire Manager will be responsible for developing and expanding this operation and leading and developing a dedicated team of Private Hire PCV drivers.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of operational and commercial excellence in a coach and private hire business, the ability to meet financial targets and deadlines, and experience of implementing safe systems of work in line with group policy and legal frameworks.

This is a new post which is offered initially on a 12 month fixed term basis offering an exciting opportunity to develop a high quality private hire coach operation within the HCT Group.

Fleet Engineer, Ash Grove, Hackney £:competitive

We are recruiting for the position of Fleet Engineer. Based at Ash Grove depot, the postholder will manage all aspects of the engineering function at garage level; ensuring all employees understand their responsibilities and deliver a high standard of service at all times – ensuring compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements in line with best practice.

The successful candidate will be a leading professional engineer with extensive experience of bus operations, improvement processes, engineering budgets and associated engineering IT systems.

The successful applicant will be required to lead by example, and work as part of a team to provide an effective and efficient service.

Supervising Travel Buddy, Leeds, 35 Hours Per Week, Salary £7.50ph

Leeds Alternative Travel, part of the HCT Group, is seeking to recruit a Supervising Travel Buddy to be the contact point between our team of 30 Travel Buddies and our client.

You will be expected to deal with the day to day running of the scheme and report to both LAT office manager and our client. You will assist in resolving any issues that may arise with buddies and clients and produce all paperwork required for the smooth running of the scheme as per the job description (which can be downloaded here).

The role is an integral part of the Travel Buddy Scheme and attention to detail is essential. Hours of work are usually between 07.00 and 18.00 Monday to Friday with some additional hours expected. The role is based in Leeds and the surrounding area.

Operations Manager, Bristol, circa £43k

CT Plus (Bristol) is a part of the award winning social enterprise HCT Group and delivers a range of passenger transport and community transport services across the Bristol area.

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager who will be accountable for the day to day operation of the services in Bristol and surrounding area.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in operational management in the bus industry with the ability to innovate, achieve growth and ensure that all services are operated to a high level of quality while meeting budgetary requirements. Experience of developing individuals and teams to maximise their potential is also required.

An essential requirement of the role is that the candidate holds a National or International CPC qualification in the passenger transport industry.

MyBus drivers, Leeds and Wakefield depots, from £8.67 per hour

CT Plus Yorkshire currently has a number of vacancies at its Leeds and Wakefield depots for qualified PCV drivers to deliver its MyBus home to school services.

A variety of vacancies currently exist as term time only drivers operating from our Leeds depot. Applicants must hold a valid Category D entitlement to drive PCV vehicles on their license, have no more than 6 penalty points and have completed at least 3 modules of their driver CPC qualification. They will also be required to undergo an enhanced CRB check as the posts will involve working with children.

We offer competitive rates of pay, starting from £8.67 per hour as well as training and other benefits.

London red bus drivers - recruiting now

We currently recruiting experienced bus drivers who are interested in driving for our London red bus services. If you have a full, clean PCV licence and are interested in working from our Ash Grove bus depot in Hackney, London, we would be delighted to hear from you.
