Head of Community Transport and Stakeholder Engagement, Leeds, £competitive

HCT Group is seeking to recruit Head of Community Transport and Stakeholder Engagement, taking our community services in Leeds to the next level.

The post holder will lead on the identification and development of new service business opportunities designed to serve people with mobility difficulties, in line with the organisation’s strategic and social aims.

This will include developing and designing services to meet the changing needs of service users and commissioners in health and social care, working closely with HCT’s business development team and operational team.

Along with working closely with internal colleagues there will be a focus on building business through effective community engagement and partnerships, as well as building on current opportunities which include: Travel Training; development of social care work; proposal to develop Car Club; Ageing Better, West Yorkshire Combined Authority.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in researching, acquiring and developing new service delivery opportunities. We are seeking an accomplished communicator in all mediums –client management, negotiating, writing - to the widest possible range of stakeholders, both internal and external. Full time Heads of Curriculum, 2 posts, Hackney, £40,000 – £45,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two exceptional curriculum leaders to join our Learning Centre:

  • Head of Curriculum, Education, Care and Support Services
  • Head of Curriculum, Passenger Transport and Logistics

The role of our curriculum leaders is to:

  • Support the senior team in leading and managing the Centre
  • Be accountable for working with, leading, managing, supporting and monitoring all members of the curriculum team (teaching and support staff) in their curriculum role in order to secure effective leadership and management of the curriculum area and high standards of staff performance
  • Develop and enhance the teaching practice of others
  • Ensure curriculum provision and developments are appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated and are in accordance with Centre policy and any national or local guidance
  • Promote cross-curricular developments where appropriate
  • Raise standards of learner attainment, achievement and behaviour for learning within the curriculum area
  • Be accountable for promoting, monitoring and supporting learner progress and development within the curriculum area
  • Effectively manage and deploy human, financial and physical resources within the curriculum area
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and inclusive environment for all learners

Bid Tendering Officer, London, £35-38k, 2 posts

HCT Group has successfully grown year by year into one of the largest and most successful Social Enterprises in the UK. We are looking to continue this growth and deliver more transport services to our community through our winning model.

This role sits within the Business Development Unit, and reports to the Head of Business Development. The role will enable continued organisational growth through delivering a range of high quality and successful tenders to secure existing contracts and to win new contracts and income, with a particular focus on our SEN transport tender proposition. The role will also include working on product development and innovation projects that enable further growth and longer term income.

We require someone with tenacity and confidence, with a methodical ‘no stone left unturned’ approach to bid writing and an ability to work with budgets and business models.

MyBus drivers, Leeds and Wakefield depots, from £8.67 per hour

CT Plus Yorkshire currently has a number of vacancies at its Leeds and Wakefield depots for qualified PCV drivers to deliver its MyBus home to school services.

A variety of vacancies currently exist as term time only drivers operating from our Leeds depot. Applicants must hold a valid Category D entitlement to drive PCV vehicles on their license, have no more than 6 penalty points and have completed at least 3 modules of their driver CPC qualification. They will also be required to undergo an enhanced CRB check as the posts will involve working with children.

We offer competitive rates of pay, starting from £8.67 per hour as well as training and other benefits.
