Operations Manager, Wandsworth, £competitive

We have won an exciting new contract to deliver high quality Special Educational Needs services under contract to Wandsworth Council from September.

We are looking to recruit a high quality industry professional to lead on the preparation, implementation and delivery of this contract. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the safe, compliant and cost effective delivery of high quality bus services – including budget development and control. Essential for the role are excellent organisational and people management skills and an ability to engage with customers and stakeholders at all levels. A CPC in National Road Passenger Transport is also required.

Community Transport Administrator, Hackney, p/t, £comp

We are seeking a caring, patient, helpful and courteous person with a professional attitude to assist both staff and service users and coordinate transport bookings and enquiries.

You will possess excellent communications skills, good literacy skills and an attitude that reflects the overall culture of a charitable organisation. You will have experience of dealing with the general public, ideally through a customer relations role or similar and a good understanding of the needs of customers with mobility, sensory and behavioural difficulties. You will demonstrate an understanding of equal opportunities and have an awareness of the importance of confidentiality and discretion when dealing with customers.

You will also have experience of scheduling and implementing staff rotas, good computer skills, an understanding of office administration systems and the ability to input data accurately in a speedy manner, within a pressurised environment. You will be an experienced team player who is flexible and willing to work unsupervised on your own initiative at times.

Full training and a comprehensive ongoing individual support and development programme will be available to the successful applicant.

The post is offered as a part time role of 17.5 hours per week. For the right applicant, the role can be merged with the Transport Coordination Centre Operator role advertised below to create a full time post. You will also have good computer skills, an understanding of office administration systems and the ability to work accurately in a speedy manner, within a pressurised environment. You will be an experienced team player who is flexible and available to work shift patterns.

MyBus drivers, Leeds and Wakefield depots, from £8.80 per hour

CT Plus Yorkshire currently has a number of vacancies at its Leeds and Wakefield depots for qualified PCV drivers to deliver its MyBus home to school services.

A variety of vacancies currently exist as term time only drivers operating from our Leeds depot. Applicants must hold a valid Category D entitlement to drive PCV vehicles on their license, have no more than 6 penalty points and have completed at least 3 modules of their driver CPC qualification. They will also be required to undergo an enhanced CRB check as the posts will involve working with children.

We offer competitive rates of pay, starting from £8.80 per hour as well as training and other benefits.
